TERMS FOR PARTICIPATION – YouTube Spotted on Shorts
These Terms set forth the rules, eligibility criteria, rights, duties, obligations, and other conditions for
participation in the “Spotted on Shorts program”. This program is a Google initiative executed in
partnership with the organisation (Communique Marketing Solutions). All participants are expected to act
ethically, with integrity, and in good faith throughout their engagement in the program.
1. ELIGIBLE AUDIENCE
1.1. Content creators who cumulatively fulfill the following criteria are eligible to take part in the
selection process:
Who can join?
- Must be over 18 years of age at the time of registration.
- Must have an active YouTube channel or start a new one before registering for the program.
- Actively creating across any/every of the 3 niches: local events, restaurant reviews, and travel.
- Must be actively posting content in the last 30–60 days.
- Must commit to an 8-week long intensive program focused on Shorts.
- Must not have an active strike on their YouTube channel.
2. ENROLLMENT PROCESS
2.1. Enrollment must be carried out by participants through registration on the official program website,
with
all required information duly provided.
2.2. Incomplete or untimely submission of Shorts will result in the
automatic disqualification of the candidate.
2.3. Enrollment is free and cannot be transferred. By registering,
you agree to this rule.
3. PROGRAM STRUCTURE
3.1 The program will run for 8 weeks and will include

Access to an exclusive platform containing a comprehensive curriculum, resources, and support along with
exclusive sessions
with platform experts, creators and Googlers.
- Weekly challenges that require participants to submit content in YouTube Shorts.

A points system with rewards and badges for participants based on their level of participation,
engagement and relevance of
challenges based on Shorts creation.
- Access to a dashboard to track their performance and standing in the program at all times.
4. PARTICIPATION, CONDUCT, AND COMMITMENTS
4.1. The participant agrees to
- Actively take part in the sessions (Masterclasses/AMAs) as well as participate in challenges.
- Submit the mandatory Shorts within the stipulated timelines (72 hours).
- Uphold a respectful, ethical, and cooperative conduct throughout the program.
- Adhere to the rules and instructions communicated by the organization.
4.2 Failure to comply with 30% or more of the proposed activities may result in disqualification, loss of
program access, and/or the
right to badges and rewards.
5. CONTENT DELIVERY
5.1 Each participant must publish a minimum of 1 Short per challenge on YouTube, following the
designated
themes (restaurant
reviewing, local events, travel storytelling) and the guidelines specified in each weekly challenge.

5.2 The published Shorts must include and accurately apply the required hashtags and locations in the
published Shorts for
effective demographic tracking.
- 5.3 Participants must follow the briefing for each challenge which will be conducted in each
Masterclass/AMA
session.
- 5.4 Participants must clearly adhere to each mandatory information requested by the program for improved
clarity.
6. REWARDS AND PRIZES
6.1 The program offers rewards given out in several stages:
6.1.1 Challenge announcements will be included in, or posted immediately following, each weekly
Masterclass/AMA session.
Challenge incentives: rewards and badges are based on performance across a series of
challenges over the
8-week period.
Final prizes Determined by overall performance across all challenges, the timeliness of
submissions, and
Shorts engagement.
Conditions for Exclusive Badges, Rewards and Access
- Having participated in at least 8 program challenges.
- The basic deliveries of at least 8 YouTube Shorts (1 Short per challenge) throughout the 8-week program.

The published content must only centre around restaurant reviewing, local events discovery, or travel
storytelling within the
specified program rules.
7. GENERAL PROVISIONS
7.1 By enrolling, the participant confirms they have read, understood, and fully accepted the terms and
conditions of these
regulations.
7.2. The Organization reserves the right to:
- Alter deadlines, rules, and the program schedule, with prior notice.
- Disqualify participants who fail to comply with the provisions of this regulation.
- Cancel the program due to force majeure or operational infeasibility.
- Modify the course curriculum or general timelines of the program as they deem fit.
7.3 All rewards & badges will be granted solely on the basis of participation and performance in the
official program challenges,
in accordance with an automated rewards system. Only participants who meet the challenge requirements
and complete the
associated activities will be eligible for rewards & badges.
